Lecture: Build Real-Time Systems with Python
using the Machinekit Python API

Did you know that you can build real-time systems for controlling machines such as CNCs, 3D printers, and robots just with Python?
The Machinekit motion control open source project has excellent Python bindings for HAL, LinuxCNC, Machinetalk, GUIs and many more.
In this session, I will show you how to build real-time applications with Python using Machinekit. You will learn how to create Machinekit configurations, how to interact with HAL using Python and how remotely interact with the Machinekit instance using pymachinetalk.
