Lecture: The Yesmachine
Designing an open hardware cryptographic device
Using ARM we design an embedded cryptographic device to improve our server connection security.
We uncover the caveats of programming the Atmel SAM3S ARM microcontroller. Starting with the toolchains for Linux and OSX we talk about the mechanisms and requirements of HOTP and TOTP and finally show you a prototype of "The Yesmachine" and how we got it to work.
All material wil be in English. The talk will be held in the language the audience favours. The sources will be released on the day of the talk.
