The story of Fairphone, the ethical smartphone that is built to last continues. With the Fairphone 2, the first modular smartphone on the market we address the Longevity aspects of the phone: users can easily replace broken parts by themselves and keep their phone longer and extend its functionality. It goes without saying that Ownership and Longevity also need to be addressed in software. This is what this presentation is about.
